A Small Snippet

before too much time passed, i thought i’d show you just a few more photos from our last few days of vacation. nothing too special, and i slacked a bit on taking photos at the end, but i’ll at least give you a snippet of what fun things we did.

the boys spent a day snowboarding in Vail:

and afterwards, we all enjoyed the Vail nightlife:

we then finished the night in the hot tub….so much fun when you are surrounded by snow and below freezing temps!!!

the next day brought us a gorgeous day:

such a fun way to celebrate the Big 30!! i’m thankful for good friends, killer hook-ups that got us an amazing place to stay (at no cost), and Delta’s Frequent Flier Miles that basically gave us a free trip to the Rockies!!!

and as one fun life passage ended, tomorrow brings the start of “a beginning” for us…Bella Ballerina’s debut! the Nutcracker is finally upon us, and she couldn’t be more excited (and neither could momma!)

we tried on her costume today, and i don’t want to quite give it all away yet, but here’s a little glimpse:

upon request from her dance teacher, we had to test run her makeup. not sure its a look that i’d like her to wear often (or ever!) but i guess its okay for one night! and i told her that i’d pay big $$$ (if i had it!) to have her long beautiful eyelashes!

we had rehearsal at the theater today, and i think she was in awe of getting to be such a “big girl dancer” on a real stage! i sure hope we get many many many more years of this cuteness!!

but one thing i know for sure….tomorrow should be a day full of memories!!!

but instead of hitting the slopes today, we decided to do some exploring:
so we followed some animal tracks: (how about those bear tracks??? don’t know what the others are…deer, maybe?)
