not the recipe..sorry…

so…i know i said i would post that Strawberry Cake Recipe this weekend, but i’ve been too busy doing this for the last 4 days…

potty training a VERY, VERY, VERY strong-willed 2 year old has brought on complete and utter exhaustion. but we have had success!! (and some tears…from both mommy and the bug!) praying for that strong will to be used by God for His Glory one day…all its doing now is really really testing my patience, and i’ve failed all weekend!! but…today was a GREAT day! here’s hoping to a great week!

so…this is all you’re getting tonight! i’ll be back this week though…with that recipe, maybe some more b-day party projects, and some thoughts that have been running through my tired mind this weekend as i sat for hours on the bathroom floor!

i’ll leave you with this thought though…as i watch the end of the closing ceremonies…and an end to a very fun 2 weeks in our house, enjoying every moment of these games…

but…have you noticed how passionate and spirited those sweet Canadians are when they sing their National Anthem? i’ve decided to adopt that has my anthem…much to the dismay of the boy, who’s head over heals in love with Team USA…but i just love that song, and all i want to do when i hear it is pump my fists in the air and sing at the top of my lungs!
