betrothed…
crazy days getting ready for the big Golf Birthday Party this weekend…lots of projects going on! but i wanted to share just a few photos from the beautiful and very special wedding this past weekend in which our family was apart.
Jim and Jordan were students that came through our ministry when they were in High School, and then went on to be interns for Jake in the same high school ministry during college. it was a HUGE honor for them to include us in their day! we have gotten to see the start and progression of their relationship, and they are a precious, precious couple! can’t wait to see how God is going to use them together! and can’t wait to live life as married couples together!!
this is the only picture i was able to snap of the bride (and, unfortunately, didn’t get a single one of the groom), but isn’t she smashing??
bella thought she was a true princess in her flower girl dress…and although she looks like an angel, let’s just say, it wasn’t her finest day!! i definitely struggled that day to believe that my worth was not based on having well behaved children! thank God, literally, that this is not what He bases His love for me on!!
this one, on the other hand, was wonderful!! (and got a pack of silly bands as a treat for standing quietly next to dad for the entire wedding!! btw…has the silly band craze hit your house as hard as it has hit our’s???)
what a joy to celebrate such a sweet union!
“He who finds a wife finds a good thing
and obtains favor from the Lord.”
okay…i promise i’m coming back soon with more than just family pictures!! but thanks for letting me share my fam and the latest in our lives with you,
ps: i wasn’t able to take many photos that day, so thanks to my dad for some of these shots!!
