this is what the flu looks like…

and it ain’t pretty!
and it leaves a mess in its wake!

but Nurse Hubs has been great, and came home from the store with this:

he said that mag cover had 2 of my favorite things on it: The Hunger Games and The Bachelor, so he couldn’t pass it up. he knows me too well!

the problem with this flu is that its really crampin’ my style, cause we have a big birthday to celebrate this weekend:

i’m feeling TONS better today…like a new person, but have the energy level of a 90 year old woman. not sure a 90 year old woman is gonna be able to pull it all off…

and lesson learned….GET THE FLU VACCINE! (thankfully my kiddos got it!)

if only for the sole purpose of avoiding the horrible test they have to do to confirm one might actually have the flu. think long stick up your nasal passage…i can still feel it just thinking about it….ugh
