Hey there! I follow your blog and when I saw this recipe I had to try it! It was a HUGE hit at my house, I added some chicken and served it hot (like we usually have it from Thai restaurants). Super easy, and will definitely be served again
We like it just like that in our house too
Tried this recipe today… love, love, LOVE it!!!
~ christine h.
hey there! Found your blog through Pinterest when I saw this recipe
had to say Hello..very cute blog.
Katie
http://www.lovenotesinabox.blogspot.com
fyi…you forgot the carrots in the card! turned out very yummy! thanks!
Found this through Pinterest and really loved it. Thanks for the post!
Found this on pinterest also. I made it last night and it was really good!! A couple things though, the idea of serving it cold kinda grossed me out, ha, so we had it warm with chicken and broccoli added. Also, there was a lot of oil leftover at the bottom. I think I'll use less next time so the noodles aren't quite so oily. But anyways, great recipe. Thanks!!!
I just wanted to let you know that I made this tonight for dinner after finding it on pinterest. Thank you for a great recipe. It was a hit in our home and will be added to our regular rotation!
I added some peanut butter and rice wine vinegar to the sauce…even better !
I agree here… (1) tbsp peanut butter + (1/4) cup rice wine vinegar = happiness
1 tbsp of pepper is enough too. Also, completely cut the veg oil.
When you cut the vegetable oil did you replace it with the more of sesame oil or just cut out that amount entirely?
Just completely omit the vegetable oil, you don’t have to make up for it with anything.
I just made this dish for me and my boyfriend and absolutely LOVED it. I'm not a fan of cilantro, so I actually used basil and loved the 'kick' it gave this already amazing pasta.
I loved it so much that I just featured it on my blog: http://agirlwithtaste.blogspot.com/2011/10/pinterest-dinner-spicy-thai-noodles.html
I just became your newest follower and hope you will follow me back!
Thanks for a great recipe!!
xoxo,
A Girl with Taste
Hi! Like the others, I found your recipe through Pinterest. I made it today for lunch and it was DELICIOUS! I cut back on the crushed red pepper as you suggested, only using 3/4 of a tbsp. When my mom stopped by, I gave her a bowl and she asked which restaurant I picked it up from. SCORE!
Thanks so much for sharing with us. And tell your friend we all say thanks, too!
~Natalie~
Just tried this recipe tonight and my husband and I LOVED it. We didn't have green onions or peanuts on hand, but it was still super yummy! We will be having this dish again.
Can you use rice noodles instead of linguine or angel hair pasta?
@siobhan ousley:
i’m sure you can! i’ve never tried it with rice noodles, but other readers have and say it tastes great.
I used rice noodles and it was really good!
could soba noodles work as well?
Saw this recipe a few weeks ago and seriously haven't been able to stop thinking about it… So, I finally made it tonight and I LOVE it! This will surely become a regular meal for me!
I'm not a terribly active blogger (although I try!), so feel free to follow me! http://highhopesandheartbreak.blogspot.com/
OOOOOO-MMMMM-GGGGEEEEE! delish…..kids liked it, hubby liked it, mamma liked that it was EASY with all ingredients already in the pantry . I used store bought hot chili oil and yes, it was very spicy. I just wish i could post a pic of how pretty the dish looked! Thanks
Made this tonight with this mongolian beef: http://www.pinkbites.com/2009/01/mongolian-beef.html
Delicious!
Your first ingredient is a box of noodles – can you clarify this in ounces? How much is a box – I shop at many different food stores and they vary in food dimensions
I found this on Pinterest today and YUMMY!! I have a booth at the mall so I made it for lunch (still warm) and had the rest for dinner while it was lukewarm and loved both versions!!! Thanks for the recipe!
Going to try this tonight! I may add a protein though… Chicken maybe.
These look amazing! I love your blog!
This was awesome and my kids loved it! Thanks for sharing! It was so quick, easy and tasted as good as any restaurant… we used some celophane noodles which made it even quicker! YUMMMMMy.
Super delicious! I added chicken and broccoli and it was awesome!
Oh this was GREAT! I cut the recipe in half since I am single. I added cooked shrimp and snow peas!! Amazing, this will be in my favorite recipe list. Oh and instead of the crushed red pepper, I put a couple of big dashes of ground red pepper instead so I wouldn't have to bother with straining. Thanks!!!
This was just the recipe I've been looking for! I added a little grated fresh ginger and garlic to the sauce mix and it was absolutely delicious. Will be making this again!
Made this tonight with homemade linguine pasta and it was amazing. Like, already dreaming about the next time I will make this amazing….like, does this go with Thanksgiving? amazing. Thank you so much for the recipe. Will be making this over and over again.
JUst have a Thai Thanksgiving 😛 I have spent Thanksgiving with my boyfriend’s family for the last three years and they always have a different “theme.” Of course there’s the traditional turkey and stuffing, but other than that we’re always mixing it up!
This is one of those RARE “found” recipes that will make it into my regular repertoire! So delicious and simple … and forgiving! It's the perfect go-to for a quick late dinner or a pre-shopping tummy-fill. Thanks so much!!!
Found you on Pinterest as well–I love your blog and loved this recipe! I made it last week and am making it tomorrow-so good!
(I also hope that one of my boys turns into a golfer so I can recreate your golf party-so perfect!) Thanks! julia
This will be lunch tomorrow!
I just found this on Pinterest, and it was FANTASTIC! Had to make it immediately!!! 😀
Found this on Pinterest also. I'm so glad I tried it, it was AMAZING. I used 1 TBSP and it was plenty spicy!
We made this last week for dinner. I ate the leftovers the next day for lunch. I've never made a recipe that was so tasty and I cook quite often! Thanks for sharing…I'll be sharing a link to your blog on mine in the next few days.
love your blog! thank you for the recipe:)
Thanks for the recipe! It was so delicious! I added chicken, used egg noodles instead of linguine, and skipped the peanuts and cilantro because I didn't have them, and it turned out so well. I also took your advice on going light on the red pepper flakes and then added a little sriracha at the end to up the heat to where I wanted it. Thanks for sharing!
Discovered your recipe on Pinterest and just had to try it. Used agave instead of honey, added minced garlic cloves and broccoli. Served it with chicken as soon as I tossed my whole wheat spaghetti in the sauce. Topping the dish with peanuts was PERFECT. Thanks for a great recipe!
I'm eating lots of raspberries and green beans in an attempt to breathe in a bridesmaid dress I have to wear this Saturday. I am REALLY looking forward to eating this dish as a reward next week.
Found this on Pinterest. My family really liked it! I used 1 Tbsp. of crushed peppers, added broccoli, stir fried the veggies and served it hot. YUM! Thank you!
Like most of these other people, I also found this through Pinterest. I didn't have all the ingredients on hand, so I had to use a few substitutes, but it still turned out great! I'm not usually very adventurous in my eating, but I sure loved these thai noodles! They were delicious hot OR cold!!
@anonymous:
the box of noodles i used was 13.25 ounces. but i think any amount in that range would work fine!
Looks really good. I found on pinterest also and I am dying to try it. The linguine noodles surprised me though,but I am hungry just looking at your picture. I really like your blogspot layout also. Very creative.
This was fantastic! I also sauteed mushrooms and added those to the noodles to give it a little more protein. I found the 1T. chili flakes were still a little on the spicy side, but it was delicious cold AND hot.
I found this on Pinterest, and tried it out tonight. It was great! To see my full review, hop on over to my blog post about it.

AMAZING MEAL!!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!!!! I just posted this link on my blog actually (http://ourlillpeanut.blogspot.com/). Thank you again!
Hi, hi! Just wondering what you use to write on your photos. I'd love to do that with my food photos too. Thank you!
@Edita:
you can use any kind of photo editing software or program to write on your photos. i use Photoshop, but in the past i have also used Picasa. so if you don't have Photoshop, you can use Picasa, which is free!
Oh, duh! Thanks!! It adds such a cuteness factor to your posts/pics. BTW, you should totally apply to our network! Would love to have you. Check out –> clevergirlscollective.com. Also, I'm making this dish tonight. Thanks again!
OMG my co-worker Edita just showed me this. I am SO making this next week. I looove Thai food and honestly can't get enough of it. Thank you so much for sharing
Thanks again for the tip! –> http://www.thebuenamesa.com/2012/01/dear-robin-celery-does-not-grow-in-water/
This was great. I made it for my family and they loved it.
I didn't have peanuts, so I mixed 2 tbs of peanut butter in the oil mixture….oh. my. wow. It made it a creamy, spicy, peanutty sauce…yum!! Thanks for sharing!
I am so excited to try this tonight! How many servings does it make?
@Taylor + Jessica…
it makes about 4-6 servings. i make it for my fam (2 adults, 2 kids) and we always have leftovers. i've made recently made a few changes to the recipe. i need to update this post, but for now, those changes are:
– i eliminate some of the oil. the last time i made it, i didn't use any vegetable oil, and only used the 1/2 cup of sesame.
– i also only use 1 tsp of red pepper flakes. it makes it a little spicy, but not too much!
enjoy!
Thank you for getting back to me so incredibly quick! I cannot wait to try this! My husband will love it! Thank you for the new tips! Love the blog!
I made this tonight and it was incredible! We did not have peanuts so I substituted with soy nuts- worked great and was very healthy. We will definitely be adding this to the rotation! Thanks so much for sharing!
Does adding the honey make the sauce sweet? Because I like more of a spicy sauce, so would you suggest not adding the honey then?
@Anonymous:
the honey adds a touch of sweetness, but its not too sweet. if you like spice, i would suggest using more red pepper flakes. but a little goes a LONG way!
I made this for my family last night and we all agreed that next time, we'll use less honey. We prefer more savory dishes. Also, next time, I'm going to serve it hot. Overall though, it was delicious and everyone said that they want it again.
I cut this in half tonight for me and the hubby, and it was amazing! Thanks so much for sharing!! Can't wait to eat the leftovers tomorrow!!!
Somehow I missed the instructions to chill overnight, so we had it hot with a little leftover chicken in it. SO YUM!!
Thanks!
This was delicious. I made it warm with some chicken. Cooked the chicken in a little soy, chinese 5 spice and sesame oil. LOVED it. Found this through Pinterest.
Kellie
I love it. Just like others, I saw it on a pinterest and I couldn't stop thinking about it. I am making it right now and I tasted the noodles (I used rice noodles) with sauce and it is yummy. As much as I love it, the amount of oil used concerns me so I will try using less oil next time and see if I get the same wonderful results.
I don't get how everyone got this dish to come out so good.. mine tasted so bland
Maybe I'm just more of a pasta-with-marinara sauce kind of person
Made it last night and it was AWESOME…my changes were: added minced garlic at the oil/pepper stage because I can't seem to cook without garlic! Also added sauteed chicken to make it a one pot meal. I used the oil as specified in the recipe and I agree with you. I'll omit the vegetable oil next time…tad greasy otherwise. Lastly, didn't have peanuts so I used toasted pine nuts and it was perfect! Thanks!
Hi, After finding this recipe on my daughter's pinterest blog I decided to give it a try. Delish! I made it today for lunch for me and my husband and we LOVED it! I used Organic Spaghetti Pasta, I didn't have green onion or peanuts, so I sub with red onions and almonds; next time I will use less oil. Thank you for sharing. Yummy! Yummy! Yummy!
Lita
I found this on Pinterest as a result of Brooks Running. I didn't have peanuts, so I used cashews. I followed your most recent instructions with the 1/4 cup of sesame oil and no olive oil. I used 2 tsp. of red pepper flakes because I wanted it a bit spicy. Delicious and simple! Can't wait to eat the leftovers.
Did you use toasted sesame oil? I couldn't find any plain sesame oil. Will it matter if I use the toasted? I know it has a very strong flavor…I can't wait to try this recipe!
@DaneandLiz…
I don't think I used toasted sesame oil. At least my bottle didn't say that! I'm not sure if it would make a difference or not but if you think the taste might be too strong you could always start with less sesame oil and cut it with some other type of oil and add more for flavor if necessary. Let me know how it turns out!
Definitely use toasted! When I first started making this I just used regular sesame oil and when I switched to toasted it made all the difference. trust me its worth it
@DaneandLiz…
i just realized that the ingredients on my sesame oil DO say toasted sesame! i'm sorry about that! you can usually find toasted sesame oil on the ethnic food aisle of the grocery store, as opposed to the regular oil aisle. hope that helps!
DaneandLiz: Use toasted sesame oil. It has much better flavor. In Asian cooking, it's always toasted sesame. Nontoasted sesame oil tastes just like regular oil, so there is no need to use sesame oil then.
Thanks so much for the toasted sesame tip!
Hi!
I found this through Pinterest and thought I just *MUST!* make this! Then realized this is essentially the same recipe as my asian noodle staple. Try using japanese soba noodles — the buckwheat is WAY healthier for you than even whole wheat pasta. korean soba tend to be a little bit thinner, depending on the brand but i find the taste is just that much better!
Try this sauce too – you might like it, or some version of —
2 tbsp tamari (or light soy sauce, or regular soy)
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1-2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
to taste — grated ginger
Toss with julienned carrots, cucumber, green onions & sesame seeds!

@Callie…
thanks for the recipe! it does seem very similar. and thanks for your website info. i'll check it out!
I cant wait to try this!!! And PRAYERS to your friend!!!!!
This is the second time I'm making this recipe in two weeks! It's delicious, I just can't seem to put it down!
I have made this about 4 times now! I add a bag of broccoli slaw to the cooking noodles a few minutes before they are done to increase the veggies! YUM! I also don't add the cilantro. Thanks!!
Broccoli slaw = genius idea!
I did use the toasted sesame oil and it was amazing! I have already made this a couple of times. I only used a few tablespoons of the toasted sesame oil and I felt the flavor was perfect, but I probably only use 1/4 of a cup of oil total. Best recipe I have found in a while. Thank you for sharing and thanks for the quick responses! And I hope your friend is ok, sending prayers!!
Looks good and I agree that it might be good to add rice wine vinegar, maybe some peanut butter and I love ginger and garlic in dishes like these. May have to try and alter. And, I was thinking soba noodles could be good too. thanks
Looks so easy and tasty! I'll have to give it a try
This is an amazing recipe. I've made it twice now. I suggest only putting 1 tsp of pepper in if you are feeding kids. Still very good! I also add broccoli and chicken to it and serve it hot.
I found your recipe via Pinterest and tried it tonight with a few spur-of-the-moment changes. Subbed 1/4C olive oil for 1/2C veggie oil. Added 2T garlic, 2T brown sugar, 2T peanut butter. Reduced honey to 2T (that was all I had left!). Served hot. Delicious!
i have to try this recipe for sure thanks for sharing
Hi my name is Reem, I am writing this comment to let you know that we blogger are facing a huge pic theft and your pic of spicy thai noodles is one of the many pic stolen from the blogs you can find it here – http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=330749106973049&set=a.151553454892616.27678.150128531701775&type=3&theater

Have a look and I hope we all can have these monster repay for the wrong they have done.
My husband is a self proclaimed Thai junkie. His favorite food is Pad Thai and he could eat it daily, no lie. When I brought this dish out, his eyes lit up and once he began eating, he RAVED and RAVED about it. I used 1 tbs. of red pepper flakes and I felt that was too spicy (I am a wuss) but he thought it was perfect and would like a bit more even. He said I can make this ANY time and especially when he is sick with a cold, he craves spicy foods, so he's already requested this again the next time he gets sick. EXCELLENT!!!
Swap the vegetable oil for coconut oil and you have a heart and liver healthy dish!
Found this recipe on Pinterest, made it last night, and it is AMAZING!! Took some tips from others and did not use any veg oil and cut down the red pepper flakes for the kiddos (but added more at the end for hubby and myself
Added some chicken, fresh green beans, and mushrooms. Didn't have any peanuts on hand, but will definitely add next time. We all loved it and it will be a new regular dish! Super easy and super scrumptious! Thank you so much!!!
I found your recipe on pinterest on a friend's board and tried it out. My husband and I loved it and overate
.. Couldnt give you a better compliment
A couple of the changes I made incorporated a few suggestions made above:
1. Added minced ginger and garlic to the cayenne pepper in the oil
2. Used 12 oz of egg noodles and it was awesome!
Thank you very much for posting it .. it was a quick and delicious dinner and will be used a lot in the future!!
Absolutely delicious! Made this for my husband and myself tonight. Thank you for posting!!!
Loved this! More importantly, my two teenagers loved this!! Since there is just three of us and this was going to be a side dish, I used two packages of ramen noodles (minus the seasoning packet) and half the ingredients called for. 1/2 Tablespoon of red pepper flakes was plenty for us. I served this with broiled tilapia and green peas. I can see so many possibilities for this using leftover chicken, beef, seafood etc. Thanks so much!
This is amazing!!!! I've even ate it for breakfast!!!!!
We had it tonight – delicious!
This was SOOOO GOOD! I added chicken and a tablespoon of peanut butter as suggested by others. I am very full right now:)
This wonderful dish has quickly become a family favorite. I love the simplicity for those nights when there is little time for the typical cooking production. I make mine with Inaka Udon, a nice thick Japanese noodle; they have a great flavor and absorb the sauce quite well. Thanks so much for this gem, it has earned a spot in my beloved handwritten recipe binder!
This was so good! I cut the recipe in half and then only used 1 1/2 teaspoons crushed red pepper. We added sauteed shrimp steamed snow peas. Thanks for the recipe!
keep the yummy recipes coming! Found you on Pinterest
Delicious! Made a few small changes based on personal preference and other comments. I posted it on my blog Katie and Matt's Kitchen (with a link back here). Thanks for sharing!
Exploring easy dishes to make with limited ingredients, as I'm living in Chile and we don't have a lot of the same things here as back in the US. Had to substitute red pepper flakes for cayenne pepper, and used 3 teaspoons, which is a bit spicy for me! I like the idea of adding peanut butter and rice wine…I will try that next time! Quick, easy and yummy! Thanks!
My husband and I loooved this receipe! We had so much fun making it and tweaking it to our liking. Thanks so much for sharing
Thank you for this wonderful recipe. We too served it warm and with chicken. We are praying for your friend.
This is the third time making this. I absolutely love it! I have added a squeeze of lemon to each serving and it is still delicious! Excited to see more recipes from you!
This is soooooooooooo good! I've been wanting to make something like this forever and your recipe is perfect! Thanks so much for sharing!
we just made it last night! It's delish both hot and cold! Thanks!
Made this tonight… wow! Amazing. Best recipe I've found on Pinterest to date. We added shrimp for our protein and just had a salad full of veggies. Now to find something sweet…
And I love your references to your faith on here, what a neat mission field.
How many servings is this?
@Anonymous:
it serves my family of 4, with plenty of leftovers.
Thank you for the recipe, I made this tonight… but I couldn't find sesame oil or sesame seeds anywhere at my local grocery store (Sobeys) so I used peanut oil and I also added 1 clove of minced garlic. I omitted the veggie oil, and used 1 tbsp of pepper flakes. It was good, but I think this recipe would be even better with 1/4 cup cilantro instead of 1/2 cup, and some fresh ginger added to it. I love how versatile it is!
How did your friend's surgery go?
If you like this dish, check out the Shoyu Chicken dish on allrecipes.com. My sisters in law made it for me once and it's amazing with rice or pasta!
I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE this dish!! I have made it many times over substituting different meats and veggies and it always tastes fantastic!
Me & my husband love spicey food however I have really needed to play with the chili flacks as even a little too much will really make your mouth sizzle!
I also omit the veg oil and my favourite variety to use is chicken & shrimp!
thanks for the recipe and i never write comments on recipes (although I really should) I just HAD to write how amazing this one is as it really is a go to recipe I have used many times!
Cheers!!
Delicious!!! I just made it and it was an instant hit!… I use 1/4 sesame toast oil.. 1/4 rice vinegar and add a bunch of broccoli.. mmmmmm so goood! Thnks for the recipe!
Added sauted garlic, and a dab of peanut butter. This was delicious! Thank you
These noodles look amazing!
Mmm, this looks yummy! I think I'll sub half the soy sauce for Golden Mountain seasoning sauce and add some Thai basil & chiles, garlic & ginger – all necessities of yummy homemade Thai! If you have a local asian market (or nursery that sells the basil plants), you should definitely get the sauce & basil!
Like a thousand other people, I was led here via Pinterest. I made this tonight, and it was very good! I added a couple of cloves of minced garlic and maybe a teaspoon of minced fresh ginger to the sauce, and also a teaspoon of Thai fish sauce. I would pull back a bit on the oil next time, using 1/4 cup vegetable oil and 1/4 cup toasted sesame oil (only heating the chili pepper in the vegetable oil and not re-toasting the sesame oil). I used one tablespoon of the chili flakes, and it was very hot. I like spicy food, and that was plenty for me!
For toppings, I used cooked/peeled shrimp, sliced green onions, shredded carrots, sliced radishes, snow peas, chopped honey roasted peanuts, and cilantro leaves (about 1/4 cup for the whole batch, but it could have used more, IMHO).
GOOD STUFF!
Making this tonight for dinner…I'm really excited! Thank you for sharing! Anita
I tried this recipe after reading so many good comments about it. I followed the directions as you put, even discarding the vegetable oil. But as soon as I had a taste of the oil with red pepper, I knew that something was wrong. Hoping that maybe the flavor would improve, I whisked in the honey and soy sauce. I then test-tasted the sauce with my finger and I did not enjoy the flavor at all. I tried to figure out what was wrong by reading the suggestion comments and trying out different things with a new batch of oil/red pepper, as well different amounts of soy sauce/honey, but to absolutely no avail. The combination was much too oily. All I could taste was spice and oil. I'm not sure if this is the point of the dish, because I do not have enough experience cooking Thai food. I was so sure that I was going to love this dish!! I am not really sure what went wrong because all the comments I read were so positive
@Anonymous:
i'm sorry it wasn't what you were expecting! i don't know if you followed through with the entire recipe, but i think tasting the sauce before adding it into the pasta with the toppings would taste too oily, because its basically just tasting oil. i'm not sure i would enjoy the taste of the sauce just by itself. but once its all tossed throughout, it comes together. if you are up for attempting it again, i would suggest completing the recipe with all the toppings and seeing how you feel about it then. adding some peanut butter really adds to the flavor as well. good luck!
This dish is AMAZING! It satiates my need for flavor and my husband's need for spicy
we added 1 tbsp of crunchy peanut butter in lieu of the peanuts at the end, and holy smoke, it was the perfect depth of flavor!
md
I made this for dinner tonight and we loved it! I read some of the comments first and took notes. We used whole wheat linguini and I sauteed 1T red pepper and a few garlic cloves in 2T coconut oil. After turning off the heat I added 1/4c sesame oil, 6T soy sauce, 3T honey, 1T rice vinegar, 1T peanut butter and a bit of ginger to the pepper mix. Strained the mix and added it to the pasta, along with some chopped broccoli and chicken. Topped it off with sesame seeds and green onions – delish! Served hot from the stove.
found you via pintrest and lovin the blog I just finished the recepie and it was great I cut back on the red peppers and only used 1 tablespoon next time I'll only use 1/2 cooked some shrimp in the same pan I used for the oil and it was delish I'll be making this a lot thanks for shareing
This recipe is great. Super easy to make. I added peanut butter and garlic, and my husband doesn't believe in meals without meat so I added chicken and shrimp. I also served it hot, and my three year old loved it as did my husband. You cannot go wrong with this meal. Make it for dinner tonight. Thanks for sharing
Can anyone tell me if this is good after being microwaved? I'm going to make it this afternoon, but we have an appt. right when my husband gets off work, so then we'll have to actually heat it up for dinner. (Obviously I'm wanting to eat this warm, not cold)
@Coco:
I think it would be fine to microwave it. I would leave off all the toppings and only microwave the noodles and sauce and then add in the toppings. Let me know how it works! Hope you enjoy!
I'm going to use gluten free rice noodlss tonight for two reasons:
– they absorb flavor better after being cooked, and that's the traditional type of thai noodles!
anyone else try that?
Oh…my…goodness. This dish is AMAZING. I'm not exaggerating at all, we ALL absolutely loved it. I only used the Sesame oil (no veg. oil), somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 c, and it was the perfect amount. And I also added some chicken that I cooked in soy sauce. Mmm, I can't wait to make this again. Thank you!!
This was great, such a lovely dish and so simple just perfect for me. I agree with you about the oil less is best.
This sounds absolutely delicious! I can't wait to try it!
Just had this for dinner. Delicious! Thank ou for the recipe!
Found your blog through Pinterest last week & couldn't wait to try this dish. Thank you for such a great adaptable recipe! Had it tonight and it is FABULOUS and so easy.
I followed some of the comment suggestions and adjusted the sauce to: 6 Tbsp Soy sauce, 2Tbsp Honey, 2Tbsp Brown sugar, 2Tbsp Peanut butter, plus half the pepper oil(3/8c Grape seed oil + 1.5Tbsp Sesame Oil + 1Tbsp Red pepper flakes). Still really spicy with a good amount of extra sauce; very good
Yum! Followed the sauce to a T and subbed basil for cilantro. I only used 1 TBSP of red pepper flakes and it was still very spicy!
I just made this yesterday. I only used 1/2 cup of oil.. 1/4 cup vegetable & 1/4 cup seseme. I also only used 1 TBSP of red pepper flakes. This is still VERY spicy!!! I usually really like spicy, but this is just down right HOT! Next time I think I'll only use 3/4. If you have kids I would only use 1/2 TBSP…seriously! My kids like spicy too but they couldn't eat it. You can always add more after you've cooked it if you want it spicier. I also added grilled chicken for some protein. I didn't read the directions thoroughly so I served it warm. It was still good but leftovers today-cold-were delicious!! Definitely serving it cold next time! I am so glad I found this recipe.
To be a little more authentic, lime juice!! It gives it a delish zip, and cuts through some of the oiliness.
I am having a hard time finding sesame oil!! DO you think olive oil would be ok?
@Anonymous:
using anything other than sesame oil will drastically change the flavor of this dish. i suggest not substituting anything for the sesame oil. you should be able to find it in almost any grocery store. its usually not with the other oils, but with the Asian or Ethnic foods. hope you find it!
Thank you for sharing! Glad I found this recipe. Made it with some of the suggestions listed here, I kept it simple. Will make it again. We all liked it quite well. This is a keeper, a simple and delicious recipe. Thanks!
Wow looks really good. I'm going to try it out tonight hopefully it's good. Thanks for sharing!!!
I made this for dinner last night & it was yummy! My boyfriend kept telling me how much he loved the flavor & it had the right amount of heat. I left out the cilantro & sesame seeds. Next time I plan on adding fresh broccoli & leaving out the veg oil.
Looks great! Have you ever tried it with rice noodles?
@myonepreciouslife:
i have never personally tried it with rice noodles, but alot of others have said they have, and it turned out great!
Added pork, shredded carrot, 1/4 cup vegetable oil instead of 1/2 cup and served it hot. Delicious!!
I love spicy food! This recipe is fantastic!
I made these last night for a gathering of my girlfriends and they were received to rave reviews. I added rice wine vinegar and peanut butter to the dressing and omitted the veg oil. I used two TBS of the crushed chilies and found the the spice level was great! Everyone asked for the recipe- I am making them again today for my kids with the same amount of spice.
Just made this tonight…although it was a touch oily my pasta absorbed most of the sauce (I think next time I'll cut the oil by at least 1/4 cup)…I ditto the suggestion of adding some rice wine vinegar (to taste)…I also added some Sambal Oelek for additional heat and flavor b/c I went with just 1 TBSP of red pepper flakes. Now I used toasted sesame oil (1/2 that and 1/2 veg oil so the sesame didn't overpower) so maybe that makes a difference verses regular sesame oil but I can't imagine putting peanut butter in it b/c mine tasted as if it already had it…
After all that I'll say it was AMAZING…so delicious…I ate it cold because it really gave the flavors a chance to lock into the pasta…I had some chicken with it and if that wasn't filling enough I had a second serving of just the pasta…I will be working out twice tomorrow but it will be worth it. Thanks!
Made this tonight and guess it would have been better if I stuck to recipe. I added peanut butter and it just didn't do it for me. And less then a tablespoon of pepper flakes would have been enough. I didn't have the sesame oil so I just used olive oil. Will make again too easy not to and next time no angel hair pasta
@Anonymous:
using olive oil instead of sesame oil will drastically change the flavor of this dish. if you try it again, i would highly recommend using sesame oil. i think you will enjoy the outcome much more!
Saw this recipe yesterday and had to try it last night. It was incredible! I did everything according to the recipe but added some chopped carrots and browned garlic as well at the end. Fantastic recipe!! Thanks for sharing.
Great tip Callie, I also used soba and added cucumbers, shelled edemame, and broccoli slaw.
I, like so many others found your site via Pinterest. This dish looks “delish” and I can’t wait to try it! Praying for your friend and her family. You are right, we DO serve a Big God. It’s nice to see someone share their faith in Him on the internet. God Bless you, too!
Love this recipe! I’m making it this weekend and eating for lunch all this week!!! Can’t wait!
Delicious, and very quick and easy, though I burnt my oil first time. Served it with Jamie Oliver’s sticky kicking chicken. Definitely will be made again and soon.
Found this via Pinterest like many of the others – fantastic recipe! I also only used sesame oil and a little less than was listed, and it was plenty to coat all the noodles as well as some additional veggies (bean sprouts, broccoli) and steak that I threw in. Turned out great and made a lot!
Some people mentioned they were skeptical of eating the dish cold. When I prepared it for dinner, I had it warm and it was great. But then when I ate the leftovers for lunch today, I had them cold, and it was even better! I think cold is the way to go…the flavors seem to come out a little bit more, though that could have been because I ate it the next day.
Overall, this will definitely be a recipe I use again. Thanks
Why would you not use rice noodles in a thai recipe?!
Love this, one of my new favorite dishes! But do you know the nutrition facts?
@Kathryn:
glad you like it! i’m sorry, but i don’t know the nutritional facts. but if you figure it out, let me know!
Looks amazing, can’t wait to try!
Thank you for this fantastic recipe!! So easy to make and I am in love with it! The first time I made it just as recipe called for and the second time I used Yakisoba noodles and added in peanut butter and rice wine vinegar (thank you, comments!) and it was super delicious! Happy Holidays
Sounds great! What would you serve with this for a meal?
@KB: i often serve it with some kind of vegetable…sometimes grilled okra or sauteed green beans with some garlic and soy sauce. you can also add chicken to the dish to make it a more complete meal.
Tried this for dinner tonight and came out great. Made some slight adjustments and used rice noodles instead of pasta but still tasted delicious. Might try with the pasta next time. Thanks for the idea!
I just finished making this and this is what I did: I used 1|2 cup veg oil ( I didn’t have sesame oil). I added sesame seeds to the 1 1\2 TBLS crushed red pepper and oil and 1 tbls. peanut butter cooked a few minutes. I mixed that with the noodles. I browned the green onions then added the carrots and cilantro and mixed in right away. Great flavor. Super picky husband taste tested and loves it. Serving this to friends tonight with crab legs. Hope they like!
I made this recipe tonight! What a hit. I loved it!! I had to force myself to stop eating it! I browned a bit of boneless pork chop for some extra protein.. cut the oil way down, only used 1tsp of pepper flakes (I could have used more!) and a few splashes of sesame seed oil. I didnt have peanuts, but I added a tablespoon of peanut butter… what a great sauce! I also used used gluten free soy sauce and Trader Joes fresh rice noodles… yum!!! I will be making this again!!
Love, Love, LOVE this! SO simple to make, yet sooooooo yummy!
This looks excellent… I have a question, though. My daughter cannot eat raw honey, but she can eat it cooked. Do you know if it would be possible to boil the sauce without destroying it?
On a side note, I don’t know how long ago you added the P.S. about your friend Anne going into surgery, but I am curious as to how she is doing.
This was delicious! Found your blog via Pinterest
i halved the recipe, so i used 1/2 tbsp of red pepper flakes, which was the perfect amount of spice for me! I ate it warm as soon as it was done.
Absolutely delicious, especially when you add chicken with a little Cajun seasoning!
I just made this (with a few variations) and I really liked it.
What I changed was I halved the honey (I don’t like sweet sauces), added extra pepper to the sauce,added vegetables, and added chicken. I also put garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper while tossing the sauce. And I of course served it warm.
Next time, I’m going to cut the oil and instead, crush some sesame seed and add it or maybe infuse the oil with extra sesame, because to get the sesame flavor I wanted, I had to add alot of oil and it was a bit greasy for me.
Loved this recipe! Very easy- doesn’t take much ingredients or time, and it’s tasty! I totally didn’t pay attention to the part where it says to serve it cold. Oh Well. Was tasty hot or cold.
I made this tonight, and its really good. I added sprouts and peas, and I bet it would be delish with a little shrimp. Thanks for posting!
I made this last year for the superbowl and it was a huge hit. Decided to make it again this year and was in a total panic because I couldn’t find it anywhere and I bought a new computer at the beginning of the year so I didn’t have the link saved either. Thank goodness I finally found it after 2 hours searching so we will be having it again for the super bowl. One thing I can say is that this recipe is super easy and after looking at literally hundreds of recipes today I have to say yours is by far the simplest, and we already know it is yummy. Thanks again!!
These were delicious and will be added to my rotation for when company comes over! I boiled some broccoli for the last few minutes the pasta was cooking and sauteed some shrimp for some added protein. I served it hot but thought it tasted good cold – but maybe more as a side pasta? For leftovers, we didn’t top with cilantro and I thought it tasted just as good.
Came out very good. Thanks for sharing.
I made this last week and it was a hit for me and my boyfriend. I used the vegan noodles from trader joes that you can find in the refrigerated aisle. The only problem was there was WAY too much oil at the bottom. After serving our first bowls, I didn’t want to waste what was left so I added probably 4 cups of cooked quinoa so that we could have it for leftovers at work. It did the trick
I will be making it again tonight but probably knocking out the vegetable oil and only using the sesame, hopefully that doesn’t leave me with the tons of oil at the bottom of the pot again.
Like most others, I served it hot and added broccoli. Tonight I will add broccoli, shredded carrots, and asparagus. Can’t wait!
Do you think it would be okay to make the sauce up ahead of time, say up to a week, and store it in a jar in the refrigerator?
@Lynda,
i don’t see why not, but i’ve never tried that! but there’s nothing in the sauce that would spoil within a week in the fridge.
Looks DELICIOUS!! Thanks for the recipe! Pinned 😉
I’m making this for the second time. I like to make a little extra of the sauce and add a bunch of veggies and tofu to the pasta. Delicious!
Hello,
These noodles are freaking amazing!! Easy and quick and cheap. I love it so much and everyone that tries it does also!! I have added chicken and shrimp with thai hot sauce and OMG it has rocked my world!! lol Thanks for this recipe.
AMAZING!!!! I made this tonight and we LOVED it! I only used 1 Tbs. of pepper flakes & it was plenty. I added sautéd cabbage & carrots and we ate it served hot. Thanks so much for a really great recipe.
Made this today. Added a tbls of peanut butter and a tbls of rice wine vinegar. Although I did chill the noodles for a few hours I found it to be a bit oily so I cooked up some of my famous shrimp in black bean sauce and reheated the whole dish in a wok. Added the carrots, cilantro and crushed peanuts as a garnish and it was AMAZING. Next time will only use the 1/2 cup sesame oil and cut the heat down to a tsp of red pepper.
yum! this is right up my alley! love asian noodles
and lol why is her husband a “pastor”…does that mean fake pastor?
I have been on the look out for a great thai noodle recipe! I live in a small town, so if I want Thai I have to make it myself. Finally a recipe I like and can actually see myself making. Never over estimate the power of a simple recipe. This was awesome, thank you!
god doesnt exist, dumbfuck

LeAna, you are a sweet and kind person to even respond to Anonymous … AKA: Anonomous (they could have at least been literate) with such consideration.

Your recipes are wonderful.
God Bless!
Thank You for the greet article. I love it!
Using peanut oil is good too!
This is amazing.. made it several times.. the last time I did, I added a couple tbs of peanut butter and it was sooo yummy.. We love it warm and then cold the next day for lunch.. thanks for sharing
Adding the juice from half a lime to the sauce makes it absolutely unbelievable and takes any sort of ‘oily’ taste out of it
I’ve never followed a blog before. I want to begin with yours. You have a letter to a friend type of entry. I likey.
I am going to try this tonight with coconut oil, raw peanuts and liquid aminos instead of soy sauce. I hope it turns out yummy!
Holy cow. So easy and delicious. Thanks for this! Only used the sesame oil and added some peanut butter since I didn’t have peanuts and it was perfect. Mmm cilantro and green onion! Perfect!
I found this on pinterest and made it for the family…..what a wonderful, flavorable and delectable dish. This is definitely a mandatory repeat
I was HIGHLY skeptical of using all and that much sesame oil, since in other dishes some times even a couple tablespoons takes over and ruins a dish. But it was delicious! I cut the veg oil like you suggested and followed the rest.
I’m excited to add this into the rotation!
I tried this recipe today and it is not good! i didn’t even use 1/4 of the oil , i only used 1 tbsp of red pepper it was still really spicy.. i don’t mind the spicy but the recipe really just tastes like oil to me. not a fan i was really disappointed..
This dish was amazing. I added some mushrooms and broccoli and it tasted SO good. I loved the spice to it. I know I will be making this again soon. Thank you.
This was fabulous! I also added chicken and served it warm, delic! It had a nice “burn” after also.
THANK you for one of my favorite recipes ever! I make a lot of asian noodle dishes, but this is by far my favorite! Have made 4 times since discovering on Pinterest.
Super yummy! Used only 1 TBSP, and it was perfect!
This looks so delicious! I will be trying very soon! Thanks for sharing!
This was absolutely great. I will cut back on the oil next time and also 2 tblsp of red pepper is really hot. So I will try with a tblsp next time.
You are awesome.

ok. I’ve never tasted Thai food ever, bit this looked so good I had to try it. I’m glad I used only 1 TB of pepper because its pretty spicy. the sneaky kind that kind of spreads over your mouth and tongue a few minutes later. I added broccoli and next time will add chicken (I was too lazy to cook it tonight). This is really good! I did end up adding peanut butter to cut the heat, and I didnt read all the way and see that its supposed to be served cold, but its still good. Can’t wait to try it tomorrow!
My gosh, it’s fantastic and my dear thanks so much for sharing LeAnna and thank you too Anna. Sorry that you are going through a most difficult time in your life! May your surgery be most gentle and positively miraculous. Be well.
Just made this tonight for my family…HUGE success!!! I tweaked it a bit based on other Pinners comments. I used 1 Tbsp red pepper, added one Tbsp peanut butter, 1/4 cup rice vinegar, added some chicken, and omitted the vegetable oil. It was very quick and easy, and very flavorful. I will definitely be adding this to my repertoire of tasty, quick meals! Thanks!
Hubby loved this so much he asked me to make it tonight. Added both chicken and broccoli this time. I love this! And it can’t get any easier. Thanks for sharing! (Just realized this is the second time I made this in 1 week)
Made this tonight– but I substituted sesame oil for extra virgin olive oil ( the EVOO was about $5.00 CHEAPER) did not use peanuts or sesame seeds… And as for the crushed red peppers I used the ones from Little Ceasars that come in the little packs 😛 This dish was DELICIOUS. I also grilled some chicken with garlic salt, crushed red peppers and cilantro. I don’t like carrots or green onions but my husband put it on his… and this was an awesome dish
Thanks for this recipe! My husband has requested it several times since I first made it a few months ago.
I like noodles when it is hot and spicy and thanks for sharing
I just finished making this for dinner. It was HUGE hit! Very quick, easy, and most of all flavorful. Thank you so much for the recipe!
After making this numerous times now I figured I should comment…. Absolutely amazing! Better than most dishes I’ve paid for in restaurants; and what’s even better is I can be sure all the ingredients are quality & organic. I use rice noodles, 1/2 cup seasame oil, 1/4 rice vinegar, 1 & a half tbsp red pepper flakes, 7 tbsp soy sauce & honey, 2 tbsp almond butter, and pine nuts. I also add some chicken (sometimes shrimp, most times vegetarian) with soy sauce, salt, pepper, and a little cinnamon. Served warm. Seriously YUM.
That was the best ever awesome thank you and easy pezy.
I have a habit of sprinkling granulated garlic on everything. This one is no exception. This dish is good for Louisiana hot summer! I also added Laoganma spicy chili crisp on mine. Great if you need to destress or get rid of migraines :p
Made this last night for dinner and LOVED it!! I made a few additions that made it perfect for us!! I only used a little over 1/4 cup of sesame oil, I also used 2 Tablespoons of siracha sauce instead of the red pepper flakes, I also added a couple minced garlic cloves, and sautéed my carrots and onions in 1 Tbls of vegetable oil for a few minutes before tossing in the rest of my sauce ingredients which included 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. I then added cooked chicken and the drained linguine noodles and tossed it. The noodles absorbed the sauce and it was not oily at all!! I think the peanut butter helped it and added to it ALOT. I served it with a small wedge of lime to squeeze on top before you eat it. Was AMAZING! I tried it both cold and hot, and I like it best hot.
I loved this and will make it again soon!!! Thanks so much for the recipe! Next time I’ll try less sesame oil as suggested in the comments. We served it hot and then ate the leftovers cold the next day–both were delicious!!
These were very good and very easy. Thanks for sharing! I made one batch a few nights ago and my son & his buddy polished them off and requested more! Second batch—same story!!! (The rest of the family got a taste of them and loved them, too!) Great recipe!
I adore this recipe! It’s become my go-to because it’s so adaptable. I’ll commonly add pan-fried tofu into the mix and up the veggie content, too.
Having read this I believed it was very enlightening. I appreciate you spending some time and energy to put this article together.
I once again find myself personally spending a lot
of time both reading and posting comments. But so what, it was still worthwhile!
Hello there, I discovered your site via Google whilst searching for a related topic, your web site got here up, it looks good.
I have bookmarked it in my google bookmarks.

this in future. Numerous other people will likely be benefited out

This is a new family favourite. Great meal for people who are always on the go. Thank you!
I thought this was WAY too oily. I even reduced the oil and my family and I still did not think it was that great. I think this similar recipe from Martha Stewart is much better:
http://www.marthastewart.com/317780/lighter-sesame-noodles?czone=food/dinner-tonight-center/dinner-tonight-main-courses¢er=0&gallery=274485&slide=281827
Using the chili oil idea from this recipe would make the above recipe awesome!
Made this tonight and added pb, rice vinegar, chicken and stir fry veggies so that it was a complete meal. SO yummy! Thanks!
This is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted! Amazing. I omitted the veg. oil and used 1/2 Tbsp. flakes, think I will reduce to 1 tsp. next time, a tad too hot for me. Didn’t have carrots or peanuts and don’t care for cilantro so topped with green onions and cashews. Baked shrimp in oven a la Barefoot Contessa which were delicious and served over the noodles. Ate it warm and cold, either way outstanding taste. Only problem I have is practicing portion control! Think I probably overdid it calorie wise. Thanks for the post, planning on making it often.
LOVED this recipe. I also served it hot. There wasn’t any leftovers so as soon as we finished eating, I made more to have for tomorrow.
Hello! This looks great! I just have a quick question about it. Where I live, angel hair pasta is sold in 8 oz packages and linguine is sold in 16 oz. packages. Should I use 8 oz of pasta or 16? Does this even matter or is the pasta size what is important?
Thank you!
Some posts make you smile, some posts leave you feeling sad, this particular one makes me think, which is better
than any othwr reaction.
Thanks designed for sharing such a nice opinion, paragraph is good,
thats why i have rewad it fully

I loved this dish. I followed the recipe exactly (minus the carrots, forgot those at the store!) and added peanut butter and rice wine vinegar as I read in the comments. I used about 3/4 tablespoon of red pepper and also added some siracha to the finished dish…I like spicy food. Thanks for the recipe!
You said in your update you no longer use vegetable oil. Do you replace it and add more sesame or just eliminate it all together?
@Erica:
I just eliminate it altogether. The 1/2 cup of sesame oil alone is plenty.
thanks for sharing the recipe and your tips and tricks.
Olivia
OMG, I made this last night and Loved it. I wanted to post a comment about how good this was because by husband commented on facebook about his amazing lunch, which he has never done before. Thank you for the recipe! It is 5 stars. Instead of the garnish I made a stir fry with union, carrots, sweet pees and meat, with sesame oil and soy sauce. I also served it hot. This was finger licking great!!!!
Just made it today, and there is no taste at all! I am kind of disappointed. Since I didn’t have vegetable oil, I had to use Olive oil instead. I also used Sesame chili oil, because I couldn’t find sesame oil. I will make it again next time using the exact ingredients listed here, maybe little less than 1 tbsp of red crushed peppers and not using angel hair pasta.
Was looking so forward to making this recipes…and ended up throwing it out, the sesame oil was just too powerful for our taste. I know now to only use it in small amounts. I love your blog and will try another recipe or two until I find just the right one for our family.
I loved the recipe and was easy to make… I added rice vinegar to carrots and marinated overnight with shallots. Turned out fantastic.. Thank you!!!
There’s definately a lot to find out about this issue.
I love all of the points you made.

SO SO good! Thanks for posting this, I ended up with a fair amount of sauce but love having it in the fridge as a base for a quick meal
I made this, and made the hysterical mistake of trying to get a whiff of the oils as I was extracting the red-pepper… do NOT breathe the steam coming from that sauce pan. My lungs, throat, and nose still hurt a half-hour later.
Greetings from Ohio! I’m bored to tears at work

Delicious! We added some chicken that we cooked in some of the sauce, since there was more than enough for the noodles. I had a large glass of milk with my serving, you weren’t kidding about the spiciness! I used 1 tbsp of red pepper, I’ll probably use 1/2 or 1/4 tbsp next time.

Easy to make and delicious! My husband and I made a few changes the second time around, and we liked it even more.
I found the initial recipe too spicy, so we only used 1/2 tbsp red pepper. Perfect amount of heat!
We also added 1 tbsp peanut butter to the soy sauce/honey/oil mix. It took a bit of heating in the microwave to get the peanut butter to mix, but it turned out very tasty! We decided to forgo the crushed peanuts on top so the nuttiness didn’t overwhelm everything else.
To help save my remaining sesame oil (a bit pricey where I live), I used 1/4 cup sesame and 1/4 cup olive oil, rather than a full 1/2 cup sesame.
Finally, we cooked some chicken in a bit of the sauce and served the dish hot, with lime wedges to squeeze on top.
I already want to make this again just writing this review; this recipe is definitely a keeper!

Can’t wait to make this! You posted that now that you’ve made it a couple times, you only use sesame oil instead of sesame and vegetable oil. Do you still only use the amount of sesame oil you put(1/2 cup) or do you put 3/4 since you aren’t using the vegetable oil? Thanks for the help!
@Ashley:
great question! i realize that’s not super clear. i ONLY use the sesame oil….1/2 cup. you can add a bit more if you think it needs it, but the original recipe was too oily, and i don’t use vegetable oil anymore when cooking anyway, so using only the sesame, and even less, makes this recipe just right!

I liked this a great deal! Added some shrimp and it became a main dish! 1 TBSP red pepper was definitely enough! Thanks for publishing!
Absolutely DELICIOUS! Like others mentioned, I omitted the veggie oil and it seemed perfect without it. The spice was amazing and I used 1.5 Tbsp. and even though I don’t typically like cilantro, I feel like it was an essential flavor in this dish. We loved it and will make it again often! Thank you!!!!

Instead of red pepper flakes I used chili oil and I added chicken and tofu to the recipe. It was so good! I served it hot. My husband doesn’t even like sesame oil and he loved it!
These were so quick and tasty. Thanks for sharing such a great recipe!
I made this and subbed the vegetable oil for peanut butter at the end with the soy and honey. I served it hot with baby corn, snap peas and shredded carrot and it was very tasty!
I used only the sesame oil then added carrots and broccoli. What a tasty treat!!
GREAT recipe. I simply could not wait to share it on my blog: http://www.juniperinherhair.com/chilled-thai-noodles/
thanks for sharing.
cheers!

Omg! Sooo delicious i added a clove of garlic. Thank You!
Most of the comments are saying to omit the vegetable oil. Could I do 1/4 cup vegetable and 1/4 cup sesame oil? so instead of the whole amount of sesame oil, it would be half and half.
Also, I only have raw organic honey…would that work?
@rachel:
You can definitely use both oils! It won’t have as strong of the sesame taste, but it would still be enough flavor. And raw organic honey should work great. Just make sure it’s mixed well into the sauce.
Thanks LeAna! I’m so excited to try this
glad it’ll be ok like this.
Hi Rachel… this is a bit belated, but here’s another idea… Try toasted sesame oil. it has a more intense flavor than “regular” sesame oil. =)
I made this last night, my boyfriend loved it! I only used a little less than 1 tbs of red pepper and it was pretty spicy…considering using less next time. And I also cut the vegtable oil all together, the seasme oil was plenty. I also added about 3/4 tbs peanut butter to mellow out the spice.
We love this recipe. As with all great recipes, I love to experiment. Instead of the veg oil, I use veggie broth and only 1TBLS for dark sesame oil. Also added 1Tbls of natural peanut butter. One of the best things I add though is a bag of broccoli slaw and sometimes some shelled edamame. I also make the sauce for other stir fry dishes and it is always a hit. Thanks for the recipe!
Very good sauce…didn’t realize how easy it is to make chili oil. I only used the sesame oil and added a little bit of oyster sauce, shrimp and chicken. I bought rice noodles on a whim one day and had no idea what to do with them. This was the perfect idea!
Wow…definitely wanna make this…can u please tell me how much is 1 box linguine in grams ?

Youre so cool! I do not believe I have read through something like this before. So nice to find someone with unique thoughts on this issue. Really.. thanks for starting this up. This website is one thing thats needed on the internet, someone with some originality!
Hi! Found this recipe on Pinterest! My whole family loves it…. well, it’s not my daughter’s favorite because she doesn’t like spice. My oldest loves spice, so I find a medium and both complain….
But…. we all love this! Makes the house smell so yummy too! I also omit the vegetable oil. I saw the post about your friend with brain cancer. I’m not sure when you posted it, but I prayed for her. Wondering about the outcome? Remember….. God works all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Remember, God doesn’t want our suffering…. that’s the horrible consequence of living on this earth, but He does promise to never leave us and to work things out for good…. I am fully aware there is no good out of death, but He can turn all things for good….. One day we will be reunited with those we love. Even so, Lord Jesus, come!
I took out the vegetable oil, only used 1/2 tablespoon of pepper and found it a tad bland so added 3 cloves of crushed garlic, 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 more soy sauce. It makes up for the lack of extra oil and if you let it sit the noodles soak it up nicely. Very good!
This looks amazing! I’m planning on making it for dinner tomorrow night, and am looking to make it with chicken. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to cook the chicken for this dish? As in what spices/oils you used, if you cooked it in a pan or in the oven, etc. Thanks so much in advance! Really excited to make this!
I made this for lunch today and served warm with chicken breast. Absolutely lovely. I’m not a fan of Thai food and not experienced with cooking. This recipe was so easy and tasted so good. The only thing was that I personally found that a half cup of oil was too much so I used a few teaspoons less. I will def be making again.
